Welcome to Canandaigua Basketball!

This is where you can get all the information you need regarding boys and girls basketball from the modified level to varsity. 2006 promises to be an excited and successful year for Canandaigua basketball. Coach Mike Broderick will again be coaching the boys varsity team. The Varsity squad graduated several seniors last season but some very talented players have risen up from the ranks. Some of the very promising newcomers are Connor Henderson, Justin Tomzak, Scott Bement, Kaheim Gist and Andrew Knoublach. They will be joining fellow junior Jimmy Smith who was on the varsity squad last season.

Bob Guy will be returning for his second season as the girls varsity coach. Only losing 1 senior to graduation, the varsity team should be a very experienced, talented team. Key returners are Nicki Zahn, Ashley Zahn, Lea Zahn, Bobbi Dixon and Mindy Buck.

The boys JV team will be coached by Robin Hulme while the girls JV team will be coached by Kate Weigert. Caroline Wenzel will be coaching the girls Freshmen team and Don Boylan will be heading up the boys Freshman team. The boys modified teams will be coached by Dave Gioseffi and Mike Mahar and the girls by John Krebbeks and Brandon Herrod.
